Podcast: Raj Sisodia and Conscious Capitalism

Many of us here at Barry-Wehmiller knew we had found a kindred spirit when we read Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the Heroic Spirit of Business. 

So when we were approached by Penguin/Random House to write a book detailing Barry-Wehmiller’s journey to people-centric leadership, the first person we approached to help tell that story was Raj Sisodia.

As well as co-authoring that groundbreaking book with Whole Foods’ CEO John Mackey, Raj is the co-founder and co-chairman of the Conscious Capitalism organization. A professor at Babson College, he’s written seven books and published hundreds of academic articles.

Beginning Oct. 6, you’ll get a chance to read the book I co-authored with Raj, Everybody Matters: The Extraordinary Power of Caring For Your People like Family. Raj was instrumental in shaping our powerful message into a story and we’re excited for others to read it because we really do feel it can make a difference.

On this week’s “Everybody Matters” podcast, Raj talks about Conscious Capitalism and the process of co-writing our book, but also about his own leadership journey. Along the way, he shares much of the thoughtful insight he’s written and spoken about.
