Sharing Our Message: St. Norbert College

Lately, we’ve been seeing our message of Truly Human Leadership reach into the education and university space.
In last week’s blog post, I wrote about how a professor at Kent State University has incorporated Barry-Wehmiller’s communication skills/ listening curriculum into her classes. Harvard Business School has been teaching a case study on Barry-Wehmiller that is now being used by other universities. I’ve been a regular speaker at Washington University here in St. Louis and next year, I already have engagements on the calendar at universities in Scotland, Switzerland and Madrid.
The need for our message in educational institutions is still great. After all, they are shaping the next generation of leaders! We’re seeing much progress – especially since I was in business school so many years ago – but there’s still much more to do to ensure the transformation of business cultures from me centered to we centered.
Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to speak at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, just outside of Green Bay where we have two manufacturing facilities. I spoke three times that day, to a small undergraduate audience, MBA students and faculty, and an audience of area business leaders.
You can watch a video of one of those speeches through the link above.
