BW Wellbeing recently launched a video series featuring BW leaders to help promote team member health, wellbeing and BW's Better You Incentive, which can be earned by US team members and spouses who enroll in BW’s medical benefits to reduce their medical premiums. 

Although the Better You Incentive is US-based, the video series' overall message is relevant to our team members around the globe. We care about your health and wellbeing and encourage all team members to take care of themselves.

BW Senior Leadership Team members visit European operations

Recently, members of BW's Senior Leadership Team (BW SLT) visited a number of BW facilities in Europe. In Italy, the group toured BW Converting's PCMC facility in Lucca, Pneumatic Scale Angelus in Parma and BW Flexible Systems in Padua. In Serbia, they toured BW Converting's STAX Technologies facility in Čačak. In Germany, they visited BW Papersystems in Stuttgart and BW Converting's W+D facility in Neuwied.

Alliance, a BW business that provides a wide variety of box production solutions, from small e-commerce containers to jumbo-sized specialty boxes, recently celebrated the special milestone. BW Packaging pledges 25% emissions cut by 2030 on path to net zero

BW Packaging is committed to a 25% reduction in scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.Their sustainability strategy encompasses four focus areas: energy-efficient equipment, responsible materials enablement, a sustainable manufacturing footprint and cultivating a culture of sustainability. “We've laid a strong foundation, and now we are accelerating our efforts with specific, measurable targets to drive improvement,” said Rachana Creeth, Group President, BW Packaging.

Afinitas and Machine Solutions, Inc. 90% participation on Every Voice Matters culture assessment

Team members of two BW Forsyth Partners’ portfolio companies, Machine Solutions, Inc. and Afinitas, recently made their voices heard through the Every Voice Matters culture assessment. Both businesses successfully gathered feedback directly from over 90% of their team members, identifying areas where they are performing in alignment with BW values and expectations, as well as gaps to be addressed. Both leadership teams are evaluating the feedback and developing and implementing action in response.

BW Papersystems and BW Converting represent a total 20 BW brands at Drupa 2024 in Messe Düsseldorf, Germany

Recently, team members of BW Papersystems and BW Converting travelled to Messe Düsseldorf, Germany for Drupa 2024. Held every four years, Drupa is the largest printing equipment exhibition in the world. BW Papersystems presented a wide range of solutions for the most effective folio sheeting, web-fed folding carton production, stationery and digital print finishing. BW Converting companies -- including Baldwin Technology, PCMC and W+D -- showcased their combined solutions while also addressing AI and automation, stranded capacity in machines and sustainability.

Marla is the first face customers see when they visit our facility and she makes them feel welcome as soon as they arrive. She made herself responsible for ordering all the supplies we use daily to make our lives easier at the office and organizes many events that keep us engaged. Most importantly, Marla is the counselor that gets us through the toughest days. I have never seen Marla too busy to make time for her teammates!"

His calm, serene demeanor when working with his field and remote teams inspired confidence in the rest of us and we were challenged to deliver our Paragon Line to our customer," said nominator Gabriel Hernandez.

Shine the Light Award: Fabiana Pacini, PCMC-Lucca

Congratulations to Fabiana for receiving an award for Drives Results. "Fabiana managed to solve a banking problem not recognized by the bank itself in Mexico with determination and preparation in the matter. She recovered money for the Lucca (Italy) site already considered lost," said nominator Melanie Bianca Sarita Vincent. "Besides that, she is empathetic, helpful, polite and very kind. She is a wonderful colleague and person."

Shine the Light Award: Jessica Novello, BWFS-Mestrino

Congratulations to Jessica for receiving an award for Communicates Effectively. Elena Getov, her nominator, said, "Jessica is a real inspiration of a very consistent, committed and results-driven professional. In every interaction, she instils trust. Shout out to our May Vitality Workout Points Challenge participants!

Great job to the team members and spouses who took part in our first-ever workout points challenge! Together, 1,421 registered participants achieved an impressive 276,370 workout points. A special congratulations to our winning team, BWIS – Reedley, which averaged 239 workout points during the challenge—way to get moving! Our last challenge of the BW Wellbeing program year will begin in August, so watch for more details soon!

Don’t miss out on your chance to learn key health information and earn up to 4,025 Vitality Points! If you haven’t gotten a FREE biometric screening since Oct. 1, the easiest way to check this off of your list is to schedule an appointment at a Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Center (instructions at bwwellbeing.com > Engage in Vitality > Vitality Path to Gold and Beyond). But, don’t delay: Team members and spouses have until Aug. 1 to complete a screening at Quest—after that, and through Sept. 30, you will need to complete at your doctor’s office. NEW TECH TIP

In case you missed it: Guest Wi-Fi upgraded at all BW locations, and it’s now easy to access!

After an upgrade to all BW locations earlier this year, any BW visitors, contractors and guests do not have to struggle to access guest Wi-Fi. They can easily connect on an as-needed basis each day they are on site, in a manner similar to connecting at a hotel, restaurant or retail location. The guest Wi-Fi password will be updated annually in February and will be the same for everyone at all locations.
