All New State of the Business video presents important BW information in engaging roundtable discussion format

Last week, the latest State of the Business update was delivered to the inboxes of all team members across the organization. The video’s new “roundtable discussion” format presents important information about BW’s performance and areas of focus is an easier-to-

view and -understand manner. CEO Bob Chapman introduces the video and then President Kyle Chapman and moderator Barry Kirk, partner with Chapman & Co. Leadership Institute, engage in an interesting, lively and informative conversation.

The main video of the playlist provides a broad overview while the shorter vignettes focus on specific topics. Please watch and encourage those in your span of care to watch as well. BW Outreach celebrates this year's accomplishments and partnerships

BW Outreach is transforming Business and Leadership Education, Associations and Networks to create Truly Human Leaders with the skills and courage to care. This past semester the team brought our learnings to 141 cohort participants, 27 faculty in workshops, 856 students in workshops, 112 participants in our full-class experience, 277 attendees in speeches and completed 4 strategic projects in partner universities. The team recapped this progress in their newest newsletter to BW Outreach partners.

BW Converting's new online training solution helps customers manage workforce challenges

BW Converting has launched an e-learning platform to improve customer training across its brand portfolio. This flexible online resource offers detailed machine overview courses, supporting on-site training and helping with workforce changes. BW Converting encourages customers to use the platform for new hire onboarding, refreshing staff knowledge and enhancing on-site training.

During the celebration, winners are joined by fellow team members and family, and awarded keys to a unique vehicle (originally a yellow Chevy SSR) to drive for a week. While the distinctive car is a wonderful reward for the Bob Chapman GPL winners, it also serves to draw attention throughout the community to the winners’ contributions as inspirational leaders and team members who are helping create an organization where people and performance are in harmony.

His primary goal is to achieve results and is always prepared for potential challenges. Istvan is hardworking and determined in all his projects to achieve a high-quality result. Istvan honors his commitments and always has a positive and supportive attitude.”

Shine the Light Award: Marissa Lane, DG-Dallas

Congratulations to Marissa for receiving an award for Drives Results. “It has been a pleasure working alongside Marissa during the recent our recent project,” said her nominator Ethan Weinberg. “Marissa always comes to work with a very positive attitude and brings a great energy to the team. For this project Marissa led a team of upwards to 20 CSI team members to commission a largescale system, housing ~2000 I/O devices. This is not an easy task by any means, but Marissa stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park!”

Shine the Light Award: Dejan Žunjić, PCMC-Green Bay

Congratulations to Dejan for receiving an award for Customer Focus. His nominator Scott Kupsky said “Dejan has been instrumental in helping us to create training for STAX customers here in the US. With these new innovative trainings, Dejan has helped to improve customer relationships, as the training has guided customers to operate more efficiently and effectively. Dejan not only provides support directly, but very willing to share his expertise and develop training materials in other necessary areas."

If you’re participating in the goal setting process, don’t forget to complete it by December 31, 2024 (or the deadline your leader established). Goal setting, the first step in BW’s new Performance Cycle, helps team members perform to the best of their abilities in alignment with the organization’s overall goals. Roll into fitness with the January Vitality Workout Points Challenge, running from January 2-24, with registration open from December 5-19. Teams of 20-50 can earn Vitality Points through activities like gym check-ins, tracking steps and logging workouts. Tips to Connect Securely When Away From Your Office

• Use the mobile hotspot on your smartphone. 

• Confirm the name of the public Wi-Fi network with trustworthy sources (such as airport, hotel or restaurant staff). 

• For internal BW applications, such as an ERP system or file servers, use a VPN for access.

• Always select networks manually each time  – don’t set your device to automatically join new networks. 

• Avoid accessing or processing personal or sensitive data while using public Wi-Fi.
