MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Oct. 14, 2016 – Thiele Technologies will give Pack Expo 2016 attendees plenty to talk about with a wide variety of machinery on display.
Thiele Technologies is one of a number of Barry-Wehmiller companies represented in BW Packaging Solutions, which will be in booth #S-2100 at Pack Expo 2016, Nov. 6-9 in Chicago, Ill. These companies can collectively provide a single piece of equipment to fully-integrated, tailor-made packaging solutions for a wide range of industries, including: food and beverage, personal care, container manufacturing, pharmaceutical and medical devices, household products, paper products and textiles, industrial and automotive, and converting, printing and publishing.
In addition to having a number of machines in booth #S-2100, Thiele technology will also be on display as part of an integrated system. The integrated system features a Streamfeeder TF 1250 Friction Feeder which advances a square card onto a conveyor. The product is placed onto the cards and then fed into fellow BW Packaging Solutions company, Hayssen Flexible Systems’, Rose Forgrove Integra Flow Wrapper. Wrapped product will exit single-file to be picked and placed by a FANUC M-1iA 0.5SL robot which will relocate it 90° to another conveyor and place in a 3x3 pattern. The grouped product will feed into a Thiele ITL Integrated Top Load Case Packer utilizing a FANUC LR Mate 200id robot to load the product six layers deep into an erected and bottom-sealed case.
Also at Pack Expo 2016, Hudson-Sharp Machine Company, part of Thiele Technologies, will be featured on the Innovation Stage at 12 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9. Representatives from Hudson-Sharp, L’Oréal, and Exothermix will present their collaborative effort that brought a self-contained heating solution idea from L’Oreal to market. Hudson-Sharp will also showcase its Pouch Machine Technology at the Barry-Wehmiller booth, #S-2100.
