BW team members have donated $24,941 to help people of Ukraine

BW continues to partner with International Medical Corps as a way for BW team members to contribute to relief efforts. Donations made will be generously matched up to $50,000 by Bob and Cynthia Chapman. As of April 12, 169 team members have donated $24,941.

BW Integrated Systems (BWIS) appoints VP of Operations

Karl Odegaard will direct leadership for the engineering, manufacturing and assembly teams across the company’s U.S. locations. He brings extensive leadership experience to his new position and most recently served as the Senior Director of Operations for Xylem.

High Five recognition: Tharindu Kasturi Arachchi of BW Integrated

Congratulations to Tharindu Kasturi Arachchi, Controls & Automation Team Leader in Doncaster (UK), who received a High Five Award for going above and beyond to assist a customer on a remote support equipment installation. His level of commitment resulted in a solid relationship with the customer and further proposals of new orders. Know someone else who deserves one?

Winkler+Dünnebier (W+D) was quick to act when they were contacted by local organizations in need of urgent hygiene products for Ukrainian refugees. W+D donated large quantities of tissue handkerchiefs and face masks which were sent to distribution centers in Ukraine. W+D, part of the BW Converting Solutions platform, provides technology, system solutions and services for the envelope and mailing industry as well as for the tissue and hygiene industry.

Synerlink, a Barry-Wehmiller Packaging Systems company headquartered in Puiseux-Pontoise, France, provides eco-friendly rigid packaging solutions for the food industry. With a global approach to packaging design, project management and new product testing, Synerlink ensures a maximum performance warranty for customers. The company's broad range of solutions include complete packaging lines, form-fill-seal lines, inline and rotary fill-seal machines (preformed cups, jars, cans and bottles), filling and dosing modules, can seamers, and end-of-line robotic solutions.

During a recent visit to Synerlink's Le Mans, France, site, BW President Kyle Chapman (in middle picture above in Synerlink's signature yellow visitor cap) and other members of the leadership team experienced one innovation first-hand: Snapcut, a patented technology enabling dairy processors to cut and pre-cut PET, PP and all other recyclable and recycled plastics into 0.6 mm thickness, reducing the amount of plastic used.
