Laurie Ferrendelli

Director of Organizational Development

Laurie FerrendelliLaurie is the Director of Organizational Development on Barry-Wehmiller’s Organizational Empowerment Team, part of Barry-Wehmiller’s Global People Team. In her role, Laurie leads a team intent upon building the tools and systems needed for consistent associate experience across the enterprise.

When Laurie joined Barry-Wehmiller in 2011 as Leader of Customer Experience Programs, her focus was furthering the company’s leadership development institute, Barry-Wehmiller University, through a course designed to bring to life a vision for customer experience. The course Laurie designed, Culture of Service Foundations, takes a noteworthy approach to customer service: anyone becomes a customer at the moment we have an opportunity to serve. This definition inspires service inside and outside the organization and supports Barry-Wehmiller’s vision of measuring success by the way we touch the lives of people.

Laurie has a BA from Duke University, an MBA from Washington University, and more than 10 years’ experience leading store operations, training and organizational development at dynamic specialty retailers. Prior to joining Barry-Wehmiller, Laurie served as Senior Manager of Training and Development at Build-A-Bear Workshop, passionately driving both associate and customer experience.
